Many people would say that India is a nation in transition. The majority of India's people belong to the middle class. The nation has gone from rags to riches in a short amount of time. However, India still faces challenges such as terrorism. India has been threatened by religious terrorism for about three decades. Ben and I decided on terrorism in India because it's still an issue prevalent today. We know that because the nation is so big, it's inevitable not to have disagreements. Many of the issues arise when minority groups act almost like independent nations, but are not, and when their demands are not met they often turn to violence.
